Consultation fees

Insured patients

Insurers will usually cover the cost of the consultations and investigations required in the management of your care.  This is not that case for all policies and insurers.  You should always check this with your insurer.  Patients should be aware that they may be asked to pay an excess or shortfall.

Inpatients and outpatients with insurance cover will be liable for any shortfall for consultations undertaken.  If this is a concern for you, please speak to Dr Qureshi or his secretary BEFORE your consultation.

Self-pay patients

Initial consultation: £250

Follow-up consultation: £200

Type of consultations explained

  • At an initial consultation a detailed history and examination are undertaken and appropriate investigations, where indicated, are requested.  If a patient has not been reviewed for some time, it may be necessary to re-undertake an initial assessment
  • At a follow-up consultation, a review of the results of investigations or instituted therapy is undertaken.  Where necessary, further investigations may be organised
